Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I have a question regarding the Cryptic's Disrupt Pattern ability. What damage type is it? It's an energy attack, based on its descriptor. Is it the Energy type based on what is chosen by the Psionic Focus?

It deals untyped damage. Not all attacks have a damage type.

OK, though an Untyped Touch Attack is pretty powerful.

It also does less damage against the wrong Creature Type. And is once a round. It's pretty much a Kinetic Blast with different drawbacks.
