Vehicles use creature sizes, but there dimension are specified to a greater degree than creatures: A police cruiser (huge) is 10x20 feet, for example. So do vehicles occupy the square space of their creature size or the not-necessarily-square space of their dimensions?


Not sure where you saw that. The one I saw in the Starfinder SRD says it's 10x10 and large.

Yes, the vehicles have the same space on a map as a creature of their size.
Much as some Pathfinder monsters give fights or lengths that don't exactly mach up to to a square, the All-Terrain transport takes a standard Huge 15x15 square despite being 20 feet long on one dimension.


I think the design staff needs to retake Geometry if a 15x15 vehicle is 20ft long.
