When crafting, technological items require the use of Engineering.
Magical items require the the use of Mysticism.
Hybrid items require the use of both.
My question is, can two characters, each with only one of the appropriate skills, work on a hybrid item together?
Thoughts?

Guess I will take that as a "Nobody else has any idea either."
It doesn't say one way or the other in the book. I'd rule that it was okay if I was GMing a game and the players wanted to, but that's just me.
Since there is little mechanical gain to crafting in Starfinder (you must still pay the same price but there are some very minor benefits) I would allow two characters to cooperate on it.
This would work just fine in my games. The hybrid item's max level would be the lower of the two participants.
