I don't understand the whole deal with republishing and what overrides what. I get that the newer versions of stuff overrides the old as a form of errata (duh). But what if the spell is just left out when republished? The spells summon Ceustodaemon and summon Cacodaemon were left out of the new Book of the Damned hard cover. So are those still valid?
What about equipment?
