Alchemical Grease

Just had a question in regards to this item. It indicates:

If you coat yourself in alchemical grease, you gain a +5 alchemical bonus on Escape Artist checks, on combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to your CMD to avoid being grappled; this lasts 4 hours or until you wash it off.

Will this help my CMD if the enemy tries to escape my grapple?

No. It makes you harder to grapple and easier for you to escape. It doesn't improve your ability to grapple/hold onto someone else. (It doesn't make it harder either, though a GM could give them a bonus if it were all over you hands or something.)
