Switching addresses around without messing up order spawning / shipping

I've never quite done this before and figured it might be a tech-team question rather than a CS question. Please move it to the CS forum if it should've gone there.

I sometimes switch my shipping methods and am therefore forced to also switch addresses between subscription shipments. Unfortunately, this month the October subscription shipment and battles subscription periods overlap in a way I haven't dealt with before.

What I'm trying to achieve is to get my October shipment sent via my default shipping method to my default address but my Battles subscription sent UPS (and therefore to a new address, as I can't use the PO Box).

As I understand the timeline, the regular October subs will Spawn sometime between September 28th and October 2nd. The package will then ship between October 2nd and October 20th (via default method to my PO Box).

The Battles subscription will spawn between October 13th and October 17th and then ship between October 17th and October 25th.

My query is what happens if I amend my shipping method and address for subscriptions on say October 12th - but my regular subscription has spawned but not yet shipped. As I understand it "shipped" means you've printed the label - will the computer be clever enough to look back at the spawning process in September and send my regular subscription to the PO Box via default method if my shipping preferences have been subsequently updated? Or will doing so mess with the regular subscription as well and a spawned-but-not-yet-shipped order will have its shipping method/address recalculated?

Sorry for the verbosity - hope my question makes sense. Previously I haven't had the periods overlap in quite this way so there's been no chance of messing things around.
