Trait Question: Adopted and skins

Rules Questions

First would you allow a trait to be reskinned? Meaning that the story elements are changed without the game effects being changed?

Second the adopted trade, does it count as both your racial and your social, or just social?

Adopted wrote:

You were adopted and raised by someone not of your race, and raised in a society not your own.

Benefit: As a result, you picked up a race trait from your adoptive parents and society, and may immediately select a race trait from your adoptive parents’ race.

If you use your social trait to take adopted, you have the adopted trait (a social trait) AND a racial trait selected in accordance with the adopted trait's rules.

Generally speaking the flavor of anything can be tweaked as long as the mechanics remain unchanged.

Magic missile could be magenta, so long as Spellcraft identifies it. The Oracle Lame Curse could be a crippled leg, or a sort of palsy. A Regional Trait could mean you visited there extensively or were born there.

I have several characters with Adopted that weren't actually adopted; they maybe spent considerable time around said race and picked up a quirk, or in one case studied the race so intently they adapted their own behavior to blend in better with society.
