Hey all - we're doing the "interactive special" again this year in Harrisburg in about a month at the Save Against Fear gaming convention. Come join us! Last year it was awesome. I think I'll be bringing my Heggal again. Hawkmoon, Theryon Stormrune, Eliandra Glitessen, and a bunch of others will also be there.

I spent yesterday at Save Against Fear. There were too great highlights for me. First, my Radillo teamed back up with Eliandra's Seelah, Theryon Stormrune's Arueshalae, and Randy "doesn't have a forum name"'s Enora to take on the Dread Lord in 1-P. Cartmanbeck helped us out by running the box for us.
We were a bit nervous. The loot we had allowed for 2 mythic trait combat checks, but we thought we would need 3 characters able to make a mythic combat check, so we set out to hunt one down. Seelah picked up a mythic knife and things were going well. We actually had everything ready and were working on moving to the final location for the big showdown. Seelah was trying to just whittle down the location deck a bit, but accidentally encountered the villain. We weren't as prepared as we'd have liked. Enora and Radillo were at another location, rendering Transmogrify and Fire Shield useless. But we have it our all and when the dust cleared, the Dread Lord was vanquished. It only took us about 14 turns. Truly mythic.
The second big happening was the Assault on Absolam special. We were lighter this year than last in terms of numbers, but still victorious. I really enjoyed the ACG tables getting benefits from the effects happening, just like the RPG tables. The reinforcements were also great. It would have been neat if there reinforcements could have somehow gone between RPG and ACG tables, but it was awesome all the same.
