To whom it may concern,
I have taken pictures of my Starfinder Core Rulebook and sent those along to Customer Service, but am also dropping a note here so there are two levels of verification on the issue.
Thank you very much for your time and attention in advance, and look forward to hearing from you soon!

...at least, it appeared to be mint condition when I opened it on Tuesday.
When I opened the book this Thursday evening, it was showing an even worse degradation than the original copy that prompted the multi-pronged request for a replacement.
No, I'm not using these things as improvised weapons, honest.
Is there any sort of way to fix this without going through the cost of yet another copy that has no guarantee (at this point, with two copies being faulty, I'm batting 1.000 in the damaged books category) of being 'ok'?
Want to make this work, but this is putting me in a sad place right now.
EDIT: Pictures have been sent of two books side-by-side to Customer Service.

Hello Wei Ji,
I'm sorry to hear you got another bad book! We did receive your email. Thank you for the pictures. We should be able to set up a new replacement for you. I have seen some folks mention ways and glues they have used on their copies, but I don't have an suggestions for how you may be able to repair it.
