I was thinking of making a Phrenic Adept, since the flavor was really interesting. I was trying to come up with good uses of telepathy.
A shirren or lashunta phrenic adept with a psychic booster can communicate telepathically with anyone within 180 feet.
I was thinking transmitting messages you don't want others to hear. Does it work like that? It certainly seems useful, just want to make sure I have it right.
There are times you have to communicate with your allies without being heard (or without anyone knowing you're speaking). Examples include trying to sneak, trying to pass critical information at a sensitive time (such as in a court room or during negotiations), or even trying to make someone seem a lot more knowledgeable than they really are.
You could use it to implant ideas into someone's head, or try to drive a conspiracy theorist insane.
It's *very* helpful in space, where the vacuum of space prevents sound from traveling. Being able to communicate with telepathy helps overcome that challenge.
