Buying gift pdf for someone else

Is there a way to buy a pdf and gift it to someone else if I have their email address, but not their avatar name here?

You could buy a gift certificate for the value and email it together with a link to the product page, at least.

If you put a PDF in you cart and then check out, you have the "Digital Gifts" option.

That's what I was trying to do, but it asks for their avatar name, which I don't know.

You need their Paizo.com account name. Alternatively, as Redelia suggests, you can buy the gift certificate and not redeem it - you can then download it as PDF with a redemption code and email it to them.

Hi Fromper,

It looks like the cavalry came in to help out with this one! They are correct, in order to gift the PDF directly you'll need the avatar name of the person you're sending it to. Otherwise, you could opt for Steve's method of downloading the PDF and emailing the code to your recipient.
