So, I've decided that an Unchained Rogue/Vivisectionist Combo would an interesting character to play. Sort of a Back-Alley Black Market Surgeon.
Current Build:
Vivisectionist 2, Unchained Rogue 2
Human
Attributes (Roll 5d6, drop 2 lowest):
Str: 10
Dex: 18 (17+1)
Con: 15
Int: 20 (18+2 for Human)
Wis: 14
Cha: 16 (No, I don't dump Charisma, it's run by a heavy Roleplay-Based GM, and it's gotten out party out of several situations)
I was thinking of maybe switching Int and Dex, since Alchemist DCs are rarely important, and next level, I'll be adding Dex to Melee damage. (I don't even get bombs, so I don't add INT to damage of those)
Discoveries: Infusion
Rogue Talents: Assault Leader (Working with a lot of Melee characters, so I think it'll pay off big time)
Going for melee support/damage.
What I was trying to figure out are a few things:
1. Is it worthwhile taking Unchained Rogue after 3rd level for this character?
2. What sort of Feats would benefit this sort of character?
3. Any Extracts I should be taking for sure?
4. Future Discoveries and Rogue Talents? Most Discoveries are about bombs, which I don't have.

Once per day on assault leader would make me leery of taking it.
I'd probably be perfectly happy with a 14 or 15 in Int for that character, as you said, Int won't do much for you. And if you are planning on being in melee, a 17 or 18 CON would be pretty nice.
I'm not sure I see your plan for 'melee support.' Infusion is cool an all, but even if you don't take any more Rogue levels, you are still 2 caster levels behind, and taking an action for a buff isn't something many melee characters are going to want to do in combat.
I think you can make a decent argument for the two levels you have taken in either alchemist or rogue as being pretty good dips, but at this point you probably should be deciding which to focus on and keeping with that. A focus on Rogue would yield a more effective melee combatant, a focus on alchemist would lose a bit of that, primarily via lower BAB but would have more extracts and probably general utility.

Alchemists have the same BAB as rogue. Mutagens, especially with infusions, are so good I wouldn't bother taking rogue levels at all. If you're set on them, definitely not more after 3rd level.
Feats for this character: extra discovery/ extra talent.
Extracts: shield, vanish, cure light wounds
future things: alchemical allocation, barkskin, wings, tumor familiar, feral mutagen, bleeding attack,

To clarify, I'm not talking about any mere mortal rogue. I'm talking about the mighty Unchained Rogue. Dex to damage+Mutagen boosting Dex+Sneak attack from flanking=Massive Damage. But yeah, once I get Dex to damage at 3rd level, really no point in going further.
I understand that Tumor Familiar is a fantastic discovery, but no. Just no. NEVER EVER. I don't think I can take any discovery that makes me slightly nauseous to read the description of. (Flesh Kitten is horrifying, by the way)
Also, vanish is not on the alchemist extract list.

You have a mutagen! Just get SWOLE (also bulls strength if you want).
I know from playing my vivisectionist, I would be SO SAD if I had 3 rogue levels. Dex to damage is only one weapon, but with str, you can switch out as you need! Plus, works at level 1 :)

There are other multiclass options for an Unchained Rogue that will typically bring more to the table, since the Alchemist suffers from multiclassing. Not that it's a bad combo or anything.
For a really exotic Unchained Rogue, you can cross it with at least four levels of Druid, take Shaping Focus, and end up with an Air Elemental Rogue wielding a DEX-weapon or weapons.

Fair, but Strength doesn't go to your AC.
Besides, I'm not the primary buffer. I'm a secondary buffer, with a melee combat focus. We've got an oracle for most buffs, so being behind on extracts won't be terrible.
I plan on finishing my Unchained Rogue levels at 3, and taking Vivisectionist then on out. I can trade a feat for a rogue talent if I need more.
