So, someone that left during or at the end of season 2. Sounds an awful lot like playing Eyes of the Ten having never met one of the major characters because of what scenarios I'd done.
I have played a few scenarios that involve her throughout the seasons. Also if you have not yet played scenarios that involve her, ask around the boards I am sure there is a list somewhere and you should be able to slot those adventures in somewhere if you can find someone to run them.

You can spend a prestige point to complete the goal without having to play the ACG.I also do not like the success condition of playing the ACG. If you do not GM, it is pretty much requiring you to play the ACG if you wish to complete the 7 goals on the card. And unfortunately I do not have enough people wanting to play the game.
IMO, starting to feel like Pay to Play game, with these goals. Especially if the player wants to fill the card out completely.
Nope. Both the guide and the faction card download specify "instead of making a skill check." There's no skill check associated with those goals, and so you can't buy them off.
Granted, I'd really like it if it worked like you think. That would help fill out some of my other cards.

It also doesn't help that the scenario most important to her plotwise is one that a lot of people don't want to run because of how deadly it is. Also graywulfe is maybe referencing another scenario because that isn't right but spoilers for that scenario. Either that or he's thinking of Nefti and Kafar which is hilariously another dangling plot point.

For the Grand Lodge goal of "Participate in an adventure that features Grandmaster Torch, Pasha Muhlia al-Jakri, or Thurl. Faction missions do not fulfill this goal." - Would it be considered that these characters "feature" in scenarios in which you visit a place where they lived and plotted but which they have vacated at the time of your visit? Or would you need to see them face-to-face?
Similarly, Pasha Muhlia al-Jakri is featured significantly in the back story of The Slave Master's Mirror and although you explore one of her lairs, you don't actually meet her there.

The Pathfinder Wiki has a section for each major character that shows what scenarios they've appeared in or you can also see scenarios in the references (footnotes) section when appropriate.
Here are links to each of the three characters. For Thurl and Torch, the complete list of scenarios they've appeared in is hidden at the bottom of the page under the title: "Additional works published by Paizo Inc. in which _____ appears:"

Gencon.If that's the case, if I am in a play by post that started yesterday and it's clearly not going to end before Gencon. If I succeed at one of the goals during this adventure, will I get to mark it down on the sheet or will it need to wait till next one?
I just answered this in another thread. So long as you have one box checked on an older faction card sheet, you can keep choosing to check boxes on it.
