I recently got the Legacy of the First World book and am delighted with much of it, especially the shapeshifter sorcerer and bloodrager bloodlines.
I am thinking of creating a sorcerer with that bloodline, but I have a question: what would be some good feats for a spellcaster specializing in transmutation magic? I have some idea for the basics -- Spell Focus, Tenacious Transmutation, Spell Specialization (+2 caster level on all level-variable effects is great, and it stacks with metamagic feats), Extend Spell, etc., but what else?
Help would be appreciated.

You may want the Trait Transmuter . It is as strong as a feat for you giving all transmutation spells +1 CL and Extends an Animal buff 1/day.

Thanks, that is helpful.

Other metamagic feats you might consider (depending on whether you expect to do more buffing or debuffing) are:
Bouncing Spell - The first target making the save redirects the spell to another target of your choice.
Persistent Spell - Force target to save twice.
Reach Spell - Many transmutation spells require touching, and it's not always easy or desirable to be that close.
Vast Spell - Don't you just hate it when you have to choose which targets to affect with Haste because some are more than 30 ft. apart? Well, what if I told you they could be 60 ft. apart for the low, low cost of one additional spell level?

Agreed! This trait is really a shorted feat, or GM rating it as a 4, the trait/feat overlap in her game. She doesn't allow specialist Wizards, so she gave it a +1 to DC to make it a feat.
