Aspect of the Beast - minimum level?

First time playing a druid, stumbled across this feat while looking at dipping into Ranger. It says that wildshape class feature is a prereq for it, but does this mean I need to have access to wildshape before I can take this feat? Or can I take it even without access to it?

Thanks in advance!

You cannot take a feat you do not qualify for. For a character that only has Druid levels and no archetypes that delay when you gain Wildshape you can take this feat at level five.

if you have lycanthropy or are descended from lycanthropes you can take it

Thanks! Wasn't sure if it was along those lines or if it was 'Eventually you get access to this, so you can take this feat now.'

Neither of these are applicable - but good to know in the future!
