Character Add-on decks

The basic box said that it´s for 1-4 players and the character add-on its for up to 6, Can you add only the unique cards in the addon deck that not exist in the Core set (basic box)in a 1-4 game?

Technically, no. Add them all or add nothing. Note, you can add them all even with 4 or less. But it is your game, so do what makes you happy.

I purchased the add-on decks for all four campaigns. These were four-player campaigns, and we only added the unique boons to the box. We didn't want to clutter up the boon pool with duplicates.

I'm also in a 5-player Mummy's Mask campaign, and we only added the boons from the Character Add-On that certain characters might want (e.g., extra alchemical items for the Alchemist).

But as stated above, do whatever makes you happy. :)

Some people (me included) just leave the character add-on deck in all the time, regardless of the number of characters. Others take it out. Still others have house rules, leaving just certain cards in when playing with 4 or less.

The same rule applies to adding in class decks outside of organized play. It is technically all or nothing.
