Bolt Ace and Deadly Aim

So the only posts that show up on a google search about this topic are from 2015 or older. By RAW the Bolt Ace cannot make touch attack deadly aims with a crossbow, because the line allowing Gunslingers to do so is part of the firearm rules.

I've searched the FAQ and errata and found nothing about this. Did the dev team ever respond to this little issue?

It seems pretty simple to me. Firearms have a special exception that lets them still work with deadly aim despite the fact that deadly aim normally doesn't work with touch attacks.

The Bolt Ace ability that let's you target touch AC with a crossbow doesn't.

Not sure why it would need an FAQ/Errata. Deadly Aim simply doesn't work with the crossbow when a Bolt Ace chooses to target touch AC.

The Dev team has never addressed it as far as I know and I don't see why they would.
