Cleave + Shield Bash + Shield Slam + Breaker Momentum

Rules Questions

Hello reader,

So I've found this combination but not sure if it works...

Please give me your opinion.

A character with either Cleave or Great Cleave, a Heavy Shield, the Shield Slam feat and the Siegebreaker Fighter Archetype would potentially be able to Cleave Shield Bash, then get a free Bull Rush, to then get a free Overrun... After which he cleaves to the next target to do the exact same thing. Essentially dealing 1d6 + Str + Str + Str damage to each target in the Cleave, not to mention enhancement bonusses...

Do these thing actually work this way or is the Cleave given up by the free actions?

Cheers,
Sorrol

Generally overrun requires you making a movements.

Yes, you can do this. However, you cannot re-check your cleave eligibility after you move so if you move out of range of the cleave targets then you can no longer cleave them.

Example:
2C
ZX
AB
X1

Lets assume you are in position 1.
You begin a cleave attack, checking your targets you can cleave A and B.

You successfully Cleave A, use Bull Rush and push A back into position Z.
You move with him and engage an Overrun moving you to position 2.
You are no longer able to cleave B and because C was not initially in the range of your Cleave you cannot cleave C either.

Now, had you decided to just Bull Rush and not Overrun you could do this:

XX
AB
X1

to

AX
2B
XX

Which would still allow you to cleave B.

Note: some people might say you cannot move during a Cleave but you can, you just cannot recheck your available targets during a cleave attack.
