Hello,
in a couple of weeks I will be leaving town and I'm not likely to come back until the end of August. I would like to ask if it would be possible to "freeze" my pending order (#4342335) and the order that will be generated for my late July/early August subscription shipment.
I would unfreeze them at the end of August so as to be sure to be back home when they will be delivered.

Hi Nikosandros,
Thanks for letting us know! I've reinstated all of your suspended subscriptions, and all of the items that were released in the interim should be in your sidecart now.
We're currently experiencing some inventory issues with some of the Starfinder items, so our system does not want to allow me to ship those out at the moment. I believe we should be able to get this resolved within the next day or two as our staff starts returning from GenCon. If you'd like to get the rest of the items shipped out, I can put them into a separate order to be sent as soon as possible while the delayed items remain pending in your sidecart. Otherwise, we should be able to resolve these issues and get the whole order sent out as soon as those are taken care of. Just let me know what you would prefer, and I will be happy to help.
Thanks!

Hello, if it's only a matter of waiting a few days, it's OK, but I've read elsewhere on the forums that Incident at Absalom Station and the Basic Starfield are currently sold out and that it is necessary to wait for a new printing (which I'm assuming will take far more time). Could you please clarify the status of this two items?
I would also like to ask a more general question. I had assumed that when someone suspended a subscription the products would be "saved" for the customer but is that actually the case?

Hi Nikosandros,
Thanks for your question! While some of the products are in backorder status now, people who ordered the items before they were backordered should have inventory reserved for them. The first of the items went into backorder status on 7/27 and your order was placed on 7/06, so it should be just fine.
As for suspended subscriptions, the products are not technically 'saved' for the customer but are generated into an order when the subscription is reinstated. This is one of the reasons we prefer not to have subscription suspensions go on for longer than around 30 days; we cannot guarantee that older products will still have stock if a subscription has been canceled for a very long time. If someone does not care whether or not they skip the items that are released in the interim, and/or if they want the subscription to be paused for a longer period of time, then it would be better to cancel a subscription rather than to suspend it.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if there are any further questions i can assist you with.
Thanks!

I have just been notified that an order has been created (#4371692). However, neither "Incident at Absalom Station" nor "Basic Starfield" are part of it and they are both listed in the sidecart and "shipping with a later subscription shipment".

Hello Nikosandros,
I apologize for the confusion. We are still having issues with our inventory, so those two items were holding up your subscriptions. It looks like our system placed them in the sidecart so that they would not hold up the rest of your subscription items. I have now granted them free shipping as well, so that you won't be penalized for the delay. I'm sorry for the confusion.
We don't yet have an estimate for when we will have those inventory issues resolved, as we have still been very short-staffed and are still working to get to the root of the problem. I apologize for any inconvenience, and I'll be happy to assist you as best I can with any further questions or concerns that you may have.
Thanks, and have a wonderful evening!

Hello Diego,
OK, thanks, I'll go ahead and do that. One more question, if I may. Is there any estimate on when AP1 will be shipped? Is it in the "near" future or will I have to wait for the reprint to arrive (several months, I would imagine)?

Hi Nikosandros,
I'm double checking on how the Starfinder Society scenarios should be working for situations like yours, and will get back to you once I know what's going on there. It might take a while, so if you don't hear back from us by the end of the week, please post a reminder.
Thanks!
