Feral Hunter + Totemic Skald

Rules Questions

Hello everyone!

Okay so I have a question about some class features of this two Archetypes.

The Feral Hunter can let you change every time you want, your animal focus without limits.

On the other hand, the Totemic Skald gives access to the Hunter Animal Focus feature.
Howewer here you can only choose 1 animal focus, so I'm wondering.. if you go for a character that is: Feral Hunter 1/Totemic Skald 5, how does the two class feature about the animal focus combine?

Thanks!

Totem (Su): At 3rd level, the totemic skald chooses one animal from the hunter’s animal focus list (see page 27). Once selected, this choice cannot be changed. This animal becomes the skald’s personal totem animal and influences his later abilities. He gains the following rage power.

Song of the Beast (Su): The totemic skald grants the animal focus abilities of his totem animal (as the hunter’s animal focus ability) to all allies affected by his raging song. He treats his skald level as his hunter level for determining the abilities of the animal focus (such as the improvements gained at 8th and 15th level). This ability replaces the rage power gained at 3rd level.

Feral Focus (Su): At 1st level, a feral hunter gains a limited ability to change her shape into hybrid animal forms. This functions as the animal focus class feature, except that the hunter always applies the animal aspect to herself, and there is no limit to this ability’s duration. She can end this ability as a free action.

You can choose any focus for the level you have in Feral Hunter (with an infinite duration). Meanwhile, while you are using your raging song, you also gain whatever animal focus is based on your totem animal.

These benefits will stack, within standard limitation. For example, you could choose two focuses with no hassle, and you could choose Snake twice as the benefits it gives are untyped, but if you choose Tiger twice, the two iterations of the +2 enhancement bonus don't stack.

Note that the physical changes brought on by the Feral Hunter are a polymorph effect, so they don't stack with the Wild Shape benefit your levels in Totemic Skald give you. However, the actual bonus of the focus is not, so you can still retain your Hunter's focus even while transformed.

Thanks for the answer, that's exactly what I wanted to know!

It helps a lot even with the other Archetypes of the Hunter
