Does using a combat maneuver in a monk's flurry of blows provoke an attack of opportunity?

There's nothing special about flurry of blows. Normally, you provoke an attack of opportunity when you make a combat manoeuvre attempt - that goes for normal attack actions as well as attacks made as part of a flurry. If you possess a feat or other ability that lets you use a combat manoeuvre without provoking, that feat or ability works both for normal attack actions and flurries.

By the way, if you're building a monk, have you checked out the unchained version of the monk? If you're building the standard, melee-martial arts monk then the unchained monk will probably be better for you. The core monk is considered to be a rather weak class (unless you pick certain archetypes to make it into an archer or something other entirely different from a martial arts master),

Ok, thanks.
