This has been long overdue.

Has, or will this, ever be clarified?! This has been the most confusing spell we have come across.

Exactly how does this work? Do the allies have the same initiative? Does someone have to Ready an Action for the other? (Which would screw them from getting a full attack.) Do they have to act on the same initiative to benefit? Are the attacks made simultaneously or does one character go first and then the other? What if one character makes attacks but the other decides to attack someone else on their turn, or is somehow prevented due to an immediate action, would the bonuses still count for the first guy?

This spell has had our group figuring out how to manage for months and surprisingly, Paizo has not addressed this spell at all.

Can we all FAQ this like crazy so we can get some real clarification on this?

It is a confusing spell. I'd have allies go on the same initiative (higher roll, lower bonus) and act simultaneously.

Yeah that is kind of what we were thinking. There are still other factors that make this confusing to use but we just have it where in order to get the double rolls they both have to Roll and cannot take their actions back from any reason.
