Charging creature using trip bite

Rules Questions

I was wondering of course the normal bite attack would get the +2 bonus but would the free trip attack get the +2 bonus too? or would that be treated as a normal attack?

All attacks in the charge round receive the charge bonus.

Okay cheers. I was thinking that was the case too but GM wasn't as sure. Thanks.

That's definitely not true. For instance lance-charge-pounce was ruled not to give the bonus to any of the iterative attacks. I don't have the FAQ handy, but I could get it if need be.

Now, I'm not saying the trip wouldn't get the bonus here, but your statement is definitely not accurate.

Was thinking of only the charge bonus to hit, thank you for covering my goof on this one.

Is there a case where the charge bonus to hit does not apply to additional attack rolls that come up during a charge? Acknowledging that it takes pounce or rider manuever checks or other special cases to get additional attack rolls on a charge.

I don't believe so.

And since the trip is a result of the bite attack I do believe it would get the bonus from charging in this case, but only because the trip is attached to making a successful bite.
