Wild shape octopus form question

Rules Questions

Would just like some clarity on what the octopus form is capable of doing. Are they able to manipulate objects like open doors / tie up opponents with their tentacles? And is there any evidence I could show my GM of this.

It's ultimately up to your GM, but you could point to real life examples of Octopus doing some incredible acts of dexterity such as unscrewing jars and opening tank latches.

I'd personally be open to both your suggestions, if I were your GM, but probably nothing that required a rigid bone structure, such as lifting heavy objects off the ground or wielding most weapons.

IRL octopi can manipulate a Rubik's Cube. Of course suction cups probably help with that more than they would with rope, but it's still impressive. I'd definitely allow a sentient octopus (like you, wildshaped) to open doors and tie rope.

Nice find fuzzy!
