Playing a Wizard as a Rogue.

Dark Archive

I am getting a character together for a fallout based campaign. Full casters are not allowed but unchained rogue and every archetype but eldritch scoundrel is allowed.

So far the character is a light bringer elf with underground chemist knife master and sanctified rogue archetypes. Plan is to take bookish rogue asap and use all my favored class bonuses on minor and major magic increases.

1st level feat is two weapon fighting.

3rd is deific obedience pharasma OR bookish rogue

after that it is open.

What other options are their to increase my ability to sling utility magic or even just get some reusable rays?

Also any advic eon getting as close to possible as being a wizard.

I assume you'll be taking the 'familiar' rogue advanced talent ASAP. Until then you can get a pseudo-familiar by shelling out 2050 gp for someone to make you a homunculus using your blood (making you its master). They're very useful even as non-familiars, though its HP won't increase with yours and if it dies you get an owie.

Scarab Sages

You might want to consider phantom thief instead of knife master. You give up sneak attack, but can take major magic multiple times.

Blood of Shadows adds gloom magic and greater gloom magic as magical rogue talents. They offer darkness respective deeper darkness - which doesn't impair you.

Since you go for some Int anyway, you could also take Psychic Sensitivity -> Psychic Adept -> Psychic Disciple. Occult skill unlocks from the first feat fit nicely to your many skill ranks, maybe you can get a decent knack from the second - and the third one finally nets you a level 1 spell, cast as psychic magic. Best about the third feat is: You can take it multiple times. And Adventurer's Guide finally has a rogue talent (Aspexia’s Mysticism) that gives you Psychic Sensitivity.

Dispelling attack is a nice modifier for sneak attack. It doesn't have many prerequisites (just major magic), but is an advanced talent.
