I'm toying with the Godling classes.
Their Lineage Domain class ability grants them the 1st-level granted power of a Domain (and adds the domain spells to their spell list if they are of the Eldritch variety).
The class ability states that their choice is
...need not be the ones the godling’s divine parent grants to clerics—not all godlings have powers related to their parent’s realm of authority.
Generally, I'm wondering if they would gain a backdoor access to limited-access (sub-)domains.
Specifically, I'm wondering if they can select the Strength (Competition) domain that usually requires the Faith Trait, Urban Acolyte, to select.Cheers.

I'll preface this by saying that this is my opinion.
Reading the Lineage Domain class ability it states
Lineage domains need not be the ones the godling’s divine parent grants to clerics—not all godlings have powers related to their parent’s realm of authority.
This seems to absolve you of the requirement to select a domain from amongst those offered by your deity. Not necessarily any other requirements.
The subdomain in question has the following additional requirement
Note- Special Requirement This subdomain requires that the character possess the Urban Acolyte faith trait.
To me a member of this class could take the competition subdomain, regardless of their deity, but only if they have the trait in question.
Since this is 3rd party material it means that you are playing in a home game. I don't think that the subdomain is overly powerful/broken. I would ask your GM if they mind you taking the subdomain. If I was the GM I would have no problem at all with it, trait or not.
It seems to fit right in with the flavor of the class you are playing. You are playing a class meant to be for character like Hercules. I see the subdomain in question as being right up his alley.
