Ok, so im a level two sniper slayer and im deciding the feat im taking with my first slayer talent. I wanted Cleave at least for a few levels as i can retrain it to be a different combat feat later. I am chosing cleave because my first feat was power attack and until I can get my ranged feats I wont be making many attacks (im a switch hitter and most of my feats area already planned out well enough. Should have all my ranged stuff done by 9th level I believe.) I have one problem though, my charisma is 10 and my wisdom is 13, this character makes a point out of intimidating EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE but without a charisma bonus im sure you can see why this is hard. I have traded my half elf bonus feat (skill focus) for a +2 will save as the will save for slayers is terrible. I also have a trait that gives me +1 will saves and +2 vs certain specific saves. I will be putting one point in wisdom later for a total of +5 to will saves through traits, alternate racial traits, and ability scores. I will probably pick up a cloak of resistance somewhere down the line. Now, for my intimidate. I need to take intimidating prowess at some point so I can go into killing flourish, as its planned now, i wont have either feat for a decent amount of time :/ since my charisma is so low my intimidate is suffering and will for a while, should I take Cleave now and reap its benefits or should I forgo it completely and take Intimidating prowess now at second level and fix my intimidate problem that way?

If your int is higher than your cha, the bruising intellect trait can help.
A cracked magenta prism ioun stone can give a +2 competence bonus for 800 GP
Yea, I thought about the bruising int trait but my int is only 12. The plus 1 doesnt feel like it will matter enough to trade one of my traits for. The cracked magenta prism ioun, what does its competence bonus go to? Any skill? 800 is pretty steep this level.

The cracked magenta prism ioun applies to any one skill changeable each day. The Pink and Green Sphere gives a +1 competence to any 1 cha based skill for 200 GP.
If that is all you need cha for, you could dump cha and boost int with bruising intellect.

Take Intimidating Prowess.
A few things about Retraining.
1: It costs gold
2: It costs Downtime. Something that may not be offered all the time.
Cleave is terrible by itself and if you are switch hitting like in the other threads it will go out of style quickly. Sometimes you just do not get everything you want into a build. And if Intimidation is a big part of your package then work towards that. IP + skill ranks + Cracked Magenta you will be very good at intimidation since you are mostly using it in battle and the DC is rather low.
Also your going to be pretty feat hungry since you will be switch hitting as well as working in a intimidate build.
Another way to boost your will saves is Wayfinder+ Clear Spindal Ioun Stone. This gives added protection against Possession from Evil things.
I doubt you took UMD but there are spells that can help as well.
Also being Half-elf you should be immune to sleep (Will save) and get +2 on enchantments (Will Saves). So honestly I think you will be fine in this department.

Also, you can't stack trait bonuses to will saves.
I was unsure as to if dual minded gave a "Trait" bonus as it doesnt say what is bonus is. It simply calls it a "bonus" to will. Where as the bonus I get from the trait was specifically a "trait" bonus. What kind of bonus does Dual minded give then? Is it not a some kind of racial bonus? typically traits of any kind mention their bonus typing as you CAN stack traits that give different bonuses.

It is an untyped bonus that does stack up.

I see, sounds like i get to keep the plus 2 and plus 1. glad to hear it. Well, im hoping your suggestion of dropping cleave for IP does benefit me in the long run. Ill see about getting one of those ioun stones at the earliest convenience. Thank you both.
