Panoplies on a Battle Host or Tome Eater Occultist

Rules Questions

In a discussion recently an issue came up: since a Panoply (such as Trappings of the Warrior) requires specific items for each school to be used as implements, does that preclude the archetypes that use a single item for all implements from taking them?

Or is it just a description of an appropriate item, such as 'glove' on a regular school?

As far as I can tell, it does. You need to be able to use different, specific items to use a panoply, so any Occultist archetype which consolidates all of their spellcasting to use one specific implement cannot use panoplies.

That's what most of us seem to agree on. It's a shame, since Battle Host is the most martial archetype for it and this is a clear martial upgrade.
