This has probably been answered already, but i have a question regarding bloodline powers and non sorcerer levels. I know that i wouldn't gain new bloodline powers taking levels in a different class, but what about the ones i already have. Say for example celestial resistance at 3rd level, would it progress with my total level and go up to 10 acid and cold at level 9th level if i was say 4th level sorcerer 5th level fighter? (goofy combination, but still)
Celestial Resistances (Ex): At 3rd level, you gain resist acid 5 and resist cold 5. At 9th level, your resistances increase to 10.
I know that probably sounds like a stupid question, but here's why i ask:
eldritch heritage:
Prerequisites: Cha 13, Skill Focus with the class skill of bloodline selected for this feat (see below), character level 3rd.
Benefit: Select one sorcerer bloodline. You must have Skill focus in the class skill that bloodline grants to a sorcerer at 1st level (for example, Heal for the celestial bloodline). This bloodline cannot be a bloodline you already have. You gain the first-level bloodline power for the selected bloodline. For purposes of using that power, treat your sorcerer level as equal to your character level – 2, even if you have levels in sorcerer. You do not gain any of the other bloodline abilities.
the feat says character level -2. so why would that advance but the ones gained as an actual sorcerer wouldn't?
and then how would something like this work with a class that raises caster level, like eldritch knight for example?

Class abilities only increase with class levels, unless otherwise noted.
The class ability wouldn't advance because it is a class ability, and based on class levels.
The feat does advance, because it is explicitly based on character level.
It doesn't matter if it raised caster level, and prestige classes specifically note that caster level increases don't provide any other benefit.
