I have gotten different responses from different people. Some people say to use one chart others say to use a diffeeent one. Just wondering in terms of a couple things, if you have a trex for example with improved natural attack would that go from 2D6 up to 3D6 as many people have stated or would it go up to 2D8 as stated here:

Then let's say you had vital strike then would the damage go from 3D6 to 6D6 or would it go from 2D8 to 4D8?

Each size increase is two steps on the FAQ table (so long as the initial size is greater than small). that means you go from 2d6->2d8->3d6.
Vital Strike doubles dice, so that becomes 6d6 total
Ohh I see. What if you had an animal that was Medium size with a 1D4 base attack would that go to 1D8 at medium size and 2D6 at Large, 3D6 at huge?

If the size increases by one step, look up the original damage on the chart and increase the damage by two steps. If the initial size is Small or lower (or is treated as Small or lower) or the initial damage is 1d6 or less, instead increase the damage by one step.
So 1d4 increases by one step to 1d6, which increases by one step to 1d8, which increases by two steps to 2d6, then 3d6, then 4d6, etc.

Ahh I see, thank you fuzzy. 2D8 would go to 3D6 correct?
