A Rainbow of Status Effects

Advice

I'm designing a room in which the colors of the walls will inflict some kind of effect on the players. I know there are chromatic magic things already like spheres etc. but its a lvl 3 party. I was thinking that red might give the barbarian rage status to the PCs in the red area, maybe sleep for the blue area, a heal for yellow, entangling roots for the green area. Looking for other effects that would be appropriate for the colors and the party level. For those who don't know, here are the colors of the rainbow:

Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Indigo
Violet

Are there going to be creatures as enemies in this room? If so some status effects for a 3rd level party WILL be fatal. That said here is a list of conditions in the game Conditions

Sleep is a killer, maybe lullaby spell instead
Confusion is nice
Temporary Blindness/Deafness can lead to some interesting actions
Frightened/Shaken for paralysis or fleeing
Sickened or nauseated
Exhausted/fatigued
Fascinated
Entangled is a maybe condition if they are anchored
Rage means no spells of for a non bloodrager and can destroy a wizard
Blink is a cool buff
Calm emotions spell (vs rage)
Slow spell effect
Maybe a disguise self effect to make everything look identical/bizarre

there will be creatures. it will be the boss fight of a dungeon. so i want a fun mix of things. not all of them have to be negative, hence the heal. also it will only effect them them if they are in that colored wedge. maybe i will make rooms in the dungeon for each color so they will know what effect will be associated with what color so it wont be a complete surprise to them when they get to the final room

Undulating lights could be fun here, making the borders inconsistent each round (to prevent merely standing between rage and heal and 5ft stepping each round).

Minion notes found on corpses in their particular language can be handy as well for revealing dungeon details (No step greenie light, make tummy not good. Red light for orcies only gobbies too mad madd there).

I would suggest looking through the Spell lists for ideas, lvl 1-2 spells are most likely fine against or for the party and should provide baseline for saves/conditions/buffs.

Ahhh yes, the wee baby orcies.
