Weapon Stats: 1d4 - x2 - 20ft - S or P - Disarm, Grapple, Monk, Reach
Benefit: The blade can be used as an off-hand melee weapon or thrown like a dagger, while the rope and circlet can be whipped around and swung at opponents as a bludgeoning reach weapon.

So, let me see if I understand this, the kyoketsu shoge is a Two-Handed Slashing & Piercing Reach Weapon as per its stats. (1.5x str when used in this way)
But if you hold it in both hands you can use one hand to attack with it as an "off-hand" slashing & piercing weapon (that can be thrown at a range of 20 feet like a dagger).
And if you hold it in both hands you can use one hand(?*) to attack with it as a bludgeoning reach weapon. (Presumably x1 str?*)

I'm assuming when using it like a dagger, since it specifically states "off-hand" you would only gain 0.5x str to damage, as per the "You normally add only half of your Strength modifier to damage rolls made with a weapon wielded in your off-hand" rule.
So, what about this understanding is correct, if anything? :)
* I'm also not sure whether or not attacks with the bludgeoning circlet would actually be "one-handed" since it doesnt specifically say so, so I dont know if it'd be x1 str or x1.5.
