Items with drawbacks

Advice

Heya, I'm designing two items, each with a drawback. I have decided the drawback of one of them, but not the bonus, it should be worth the drawback. The other one only has fluff.

Item 1
A child's teacup, stained with blood
Effect: ??
Drawback: to use the cup you must draw your own blood dealing 1 con damage.

Item 2
A set of silverware used a kings last meal.
Effect: ?
Drawback: ?

Please give me some ideas.

Tea cup effect could be

"When filled with blood enough to deal 1 con damage the cup grants the user a ranged touch attack that deals 1d3+1 negative levels +2 for ever additional point of con as the user splashes the blood into the targets face."

Kings silverware could be

"When a meal is eaten using these silverware any death suffered by the user can be reverted at any time the users soul wishes"

and the drawback

"All food eaten with the silverware becomes poisoned with a poison that has a DC 20 fort save for half of 1d4 con damage for 6 rounds"

Some possibilities:

Once full of blood, the teacup can be thrown in someone's face, blinding them (as with cause blindness/deafness), or scream like a little girl, producing a cause fear effect.

Blood swirling in the teacup reveals mystic patterns, like an augury spell.

The silverware turns black in the presence of poison, except for the exact poison that felled the king (details up to you).

Interesting, but i think the 1d3 negative levels seems a bit to good for just 1 constitution, i mean you can one shot a lot of enemies at the price of a lesser restoration.

What effect is worth taking 1 con damage to get?
