Im about to start mastering a new campaing, its Counsil of thieves. I gave my players a set of book for them to create their characters, and after deciding the campaing i added "Council of thieves player´s guide" and "Cheliax, Empire of devils" without cheking them.
After a few days and commnets of my players y realized that maybe those book give them too much information, for example, the ranger knows the favored terrains and enemyys that he should pick.
This bothers me more than it should, im a heavy antispoiler DM and player and im not sure if i should chance the campaing altogether. Commnets?

The Player's Guides are meant for players in campaigns, and thus are spoiler-free. GMs are encouraged to give them to players beforehand so they can make a character who fits the theme of the AP (and don't end up making a character who has completely conflicting goals, like making someone who wants to be a Hellknight of the Rack for CoT). So the player's guide is totally fine.
The Cheliax book doesn't go into too much detail on Westcrown since it was already given a write-up in the back of Council of Thieves. It gives a basic summary, but it's probably stuff the characters would know anyway if they've been living in the city (that it's stalked by shadow creatures and that kind of thing).
I think you're okay. Just don't have them read the Westcrown write-up at the back of Bastards of Erebus, as that contains a lot of info about the city that's not as widely known.
