Shielded Gauntlet Master and Defending weapon

Rules Questions

Shielded Gauntlet Master
Prerequisite(s): Shielded Gauntlet Attack, Shield Gauntlet Style, Weapon Focus (gauntlet or spiked gauntlet), proficiency with bucklers and light shields.

Benefit(s): While using Shield Gauntlet Style, you no longer lose your shield bonus to AC when you attack with your gauntlet (or spiked gauntlet) or use it to hold a weapon. In addition, you add your gauntlet’s enhancement bonus to the shield bonus to AC granted by this feat as if it were a shield enhancement bonus.

Defending
A defending weapon allows the wielder to transfer some or all of the weapon’s enhancement bonus to his AC as a bonus that stacks with all others. As a free action, the wielder chooses how to allocate the weapon’s enhancement bonus at the start of his turn before using the weapon, and the bonus to AC lasts until his next turn. This ability can only be placed on melee weapons

ok if i have + 5 gauntlet with Defending can i ,in turn, get double the ac bonus?

I'm going with no, on the general principle of no double dipping.
If I have to justify my decision then using defending to transfer your enhancement bonus to AC it is no longer available to use for SGM.

Shield gauntlet master sets the enhancement bonus of the weapon as the enhancement bonus of the virtual shield. If you lower that bonus through properties like defending or allying, then you also lower the shield enhancement bonus. Now if you had a defending spiked shield that was also separately enchanted as a shield, you would keep the enchancement bonus of the shield, and the bonus granted from defending, because those are separate bonuses.
