Variant Multi-classing with your own class

Rules Questions

Can you do this?

Example Fighter takes the weapon master Archetype and then also Variant Multi-classes with fighter so as to get the Bravery and Armor Training Class features.

Silver Crusade

Seeing as this is tacked on at the end (when referencing both VMC and normal multiclassing),

In a game using both systems, a character can’t take levels in the secondary class she gains from this variant.

and that it always referenced as a "secondary class" in the VMC rules I'm going to say no.

Darn missed that, Thanks. That's Unfortunate.

In a home game, I'd let you do it with a fighter. You are giving up FIVE feats for the VMC anyway.
