Teleporting terror

Advice

I'm trying to come up with a teleporting Melee character that isn't hamstrung in BAB.

My current theory is a Human with class progression of Slayer 1, arcansist 2/3, slayer 4-X.

Dimensional Slide up to 20' 4x/day as part of a move action. It would become really nice when swift action study comes online, but still be nice for initial positioning, easy sneak attacks, and even things like scaling buildings/trees for scouting. Plus you have the bonus of some minor spells and cantrips.

Net loss of one BAB and a few HP, but the bonus Will save is nice.

Thoughts?

If you don't mind waiting until 8th level, Unchained Monk with Abundant Step would do it. No BAB lost, no HP lost, and you can invest in Iron Will because you already have lots of feats.

I'd recommend dipping only 1 level in Arcanist, not at level 1, then see if the 10' Dim Range is adequate. That way you are only sacrificing a single point in BAB and getting a powerful tactical trick in exchange.

If you are doing this as a Ninja or Unchained Rogue, you might use the Arcanist Cantrips--Jolt, Acid Splash, Finger of Cold, etc--to make Ranged Touch Attacks. With Vanishing Trick, it will be against Flatfooted AC, locking in your Sneak Attack Damage. With Gloom Magic Rogue Talents, you can take levels in Shadowdancer letting you Hide in Plain Sight and DimDor for Greater Range, even though Dimensional Slide lets you do it without that disorientation.

I have a lot of ideas about this, but I have to admit I have been having trouble putting it together into an articulate character build.
