So Wizards of the Coast just announced D&D Beyond. An official app with character creation and gameplay database that you can access through Curse on any device.
It looks really exciting, and as someone who plays both D&D and Pathfinder, I'm wondering if Paizo will follow suit.
The system is a lot more complicated in Pathfinder since there's so many variables but I would love this being made.
What do you guys think? Would Paizo be interested in making something like this?

Just as long as it isn't like HeroLabOnline...
Partly why I'm looking for alternatives.
The premise of HLO was cool, but I don't like what I've seen so far.and TBH, Herolab Classic feels like a program made in the late 90s/early 2000s.
It needs to be an app or a software that works more like character creation would inside a videogame.

Any program that is going to gain and more importantly keep my support is going to be a non-subscription based model that is viable off-line.
Right now there are scarce few that meet these criteria.
Apps do me zero good if they require an internet connection to function at all.
Tying a subscription to such a thing makes it worse.
Please note, I do have a tower at home. I just can't account for something I can't use ' in the field'.

Pathbuilder may be the thing for you then.
I spoke to the developer a few months back, and he was looking at including cross character interaction like HLO is doing. But I haven't heard from him in a while so I don't know what's happening there.
And I agree with you on the subscription fee. I spend way too many hiatus months where we never get together to be paying for something I'm not using.
I've already cancelled my Roll20 premium and my Syrinscape.
