Strange Aeons: Dimensional Dervish Cleric Build Advice

Advice

Sovereign Court

I previously posted about help with my Strange Aeons Cleric. Since that time, I've spoken with my GM, and he's allowed me to shuffle my stats around, but I'm still stuck with the race/class combo.

In that game, we decided to all play small sized races. I'm currently a Gnome Cleric of Desna (Liberation and Travel domains; swapped out the 1st level domain power of the Travel domain for Desna's Shooting Star). It's a party of 3, with a GM NPC (a Halfling Rogue, a Gnome Barbarian, and the GM NPC Gnome Fighter).

So in my re-tooling, I was trying to play around with a mobile build, trying to get Dodge/Mobility/Spring Attack in. Then I thought I could retrain out of those feats to build around the Dimensional Dervish feat, since I've got access to Dimension Door. I'll probably want Preferred Spell for Dimension Door so I can get more uses out of it (probably retraining in to the Theologian archetype, depending on how the rules interact with Preferred Spell and Domain spell).

Question is, that's quite a lot of feats (Dimensional Agility, Dimensional Assault, Dimensional Dervish, Heighten Spell, Preferred Spell). And it's all on a class that doesn't get bonus feats.

So, is it possible to build for a Gnome Cleric? I'm ok with a 1 level dip into a martial class like Fighter, since my character has the Magical Knack trait.

Advice on ability scores (working with a 25 point buy), classes, feats, etc. Only restrictions are my 1st level feat is currently Selective Channeling (which I can retrain out at a later date), race, and level (currently Cleric 2). The Divine Fighting Technique I can always retrain out later, but I think it'd be cool if I can keep it and go with a CHA focus.

As a quick note, a fighter dip would be pointless as none of them are combat feat, which is what is open as bonus feat.

Unless an archwtype give bonus access to those feat you are out of luck there.

Good point. I forgot that those feats weren't combat feats.

Unless there's a class that gives a metamagic feat as a bonus feat at 1st level (which can be used to grab Heighten Spell)?

The main reason for the fighter level (or any other full BAB class) was to ensure getting a BAB of 4 at level 5, so I could take Spring Attack then. Then I can retrain out of my general feats at higher level for the feats I need.

That's a valid option yes, better BAB, better HP and with retraining, that can help for sure.

So, here is a general idea I had:

01) Cleric 1 -> Feat: Selective Channeling; Features: Divine Fighting Technique (Desna's Shooting Star)
02) Cleric 2
03) Swashbuckler 1 -> Feat: Dodge; Features: Panache
04) Cleric 3 -> Bump CHA; Retrain: Selective Channeling to Mobility
05) Cleric 4 -> Feat: Spring Attack

Fighting style: Starknife and buckler. Grab a Swordmaster's Flair (Blue Scarf) and Pume of Panache (when they can be afforded). Fight with reach, spring attacking in and out. Get Attacks of Opportunity against anything that doesn't have reach.

06) Cleric 5
07) Cleric 6 -> Feat: Heighten Spell
08) Cleric 7 -> Bump CHA
09) Cleric 8 -> Feat: Preferred Spell (Dimension Door); Retrain Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack to Dimensional Agility, Dimensional Assault, Dimensional Dervish.
10) Cleric 9
11) Cleric 10 -> Feat: Divine Interference

That's the quickest path I can think of. Doesn't leave room for some other goodies until higher level, like Quicken Spell.

Depending on the interaction with Artful Dodge and Swashbuckler, could even open up TWF at higher levels, using my CHA instead of DEX to meet prerequisites.

Thoughts?
