The wording in the PFrpg is a bit vague on this. When you create a character at first level do you get your favored class bonus? Assuming of course that your first level class is your Favored Class.
Favored Class
Each character begins play with a single favored class of his choosing—typically, this is the same class as the one he chooses at 1st level. Whenever a character gains a level in his favored class, he receives either + 1 hit point or + 1 skill rank. The choice of favored class cannot be changed once the character is created, and the choice of gaining a hit point or a skill rank each time a character gains a level (including his first level) cannot be changed once made for a particular level. Prestige classes (see Prestige Classes) can never be a favored class.

Since no race has a favored class any more like it did in 3.5 the class you select at level 1 is generally your favored class for the rest of your career.
The only race that gets a second favored class is the half-elf and although as you mention is quite vague, I when you select a second class that becomes your second favored class.
So yes at 1st level you would get your favored bonus.

This is a bit misleading. The class you choose at level 1 (or the second class you take as a half-elf) does not *have* to be your favored class, it just typically is so. You may pick any single class at level 1 (or two classes if you are half-elf) and that becomes your favored class(es) for the remainder of your career. Whether or not you ever actually take a level in that class is immaterial (though it is silly to not).
In either case, yes, if you take your 1st level in a class that is also your Favored Class, you get the bonus.
