I believe this is correct if I have 2 normal attacks +6/+1
Two-Weapon-Fighting. ((just using BAB)). (( Both Weapons are Light))

Mainhand +6 -2
Mainhand +1 -2
Offhand + 6 -2

So what if I take Improved TWF?

Mainhand +6 -2
Mainhand +1 -2
Offhand + 6 -2
Offhand +6 -5

Is this correct?

Nope.

Factoring in the penalties the totals are this:

Mainhand +4/-1, Offhand +4/-1

That's what I got. +6 BAB -2 =4 and so fourth.

Not exactly.

Remember that the extra attack from Improved Two-Weapon Fighting is at a -5 from your highest BAB, in addition to the base TWF penalties.

So, your ITWF attack would be 6 - 5 - 2 = -1.

You weren't incorporating the -2 TWF penalty and the ITWF feat penalty together.
