Can you use Shadow Walk on planes other than the Material Plane?

If yes, can I use Shadow Walk to get back to the Material Plane?

Interestingly enough, it looks like yes on both counts.

In fact, it looks like once you cast it, you have to end up on the material plane (or another plane that borders the plane of shadow), no matter where you started out.
