It allows you to play any number of armors during the encounter. Does the armor played in each instance have to be different? The Reed Snake Armor, for example, can be revealed to reduce each type of elemental damage the Elemental Arachnid deals. Normally you could only use it once per step or check; does the monster's power allow you to use it more than once?

If I am right: You cannot play twice the same card. But if you have two copies of the same armor, you can play both.

I'd say the Elemental Archnid lets you break this rule:

But not this one:

Reveal: Show it from your hand then put it back in your hand. You may not reveal the same card for its power more than once per check or step.

Thus, you still can't reveal the same armor twice.
