Aberrant Eidolons and evolutions from Pathfinder Unchained

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

I was wondering if there were any rules clarifications or errata on which evolutions in the Unchained book that aberrant sub-type eidolons qualify for. Many of the evolutions list sub-types which qualify for them, and the aberrant sub-type did not exist at that time.

Yes, I want to resurrect this thread to ask this question. Thematically, you’d expect an aberration to be able to sport anything biological, like a protean. But the rules didn’t list which natural attacks the aberration subtype could take, so it can by rules take none at all.. Has there been any information after the publishing of the book that clears this issue up as of 2018? Thanks.

Aberrant, Daemon, Demon, and Elemental subtypes can all have the aberrant base form.

Currently as written, the aberrant subtype get what it's starting base form and subtype grants it, evolutions appearing in the Horror Realms, and those that do not have a prerequisite base form may be applied to an Aberrant subtype eidolon.
