I have a player that took 2 levels of sorcerer and 1 level of brawler and they want to know how their unarmed strikes will add up.
They took the draconic bloodline and gain claws as an additional attack. However, because they took the level of brawler their unarmed attacks now deal 1D6 points of damage, would that also apply to the claws, because at the moment the claws deal 1D4 points of damage, but logically you would think they would deal either the same or more than the unarmed attacks now.

Unfortunately, no.
They have 2 claws (1d4) and unarmed strike (1d6).
Claws are natural weapons, not unarmed strikes.
They can attack with an unarmed strike (1d6) and then the claws (1d4), of they're willing to take a -5 penalty on the claw attacks.
However, changing the unarmed strike has no effect on claws. Ironically, their claws are now the least deadliest part of their body.

They also can't punch and use the claws, since any given limb can generally only make one attack in a given action. Fortunately, unarmed strikes can be kicks, headbutts, or any number of other attack forms.
Say you have +10 to hit with your claws or unarmed strikes individually. Should you attack with both in the same full attack action, you would have a +10 to hit with the unarmed strikes and a +5 to hit with each of your two claws.
You can mitigate the -5 penalty for combining natural attacks and weapon attacks by taking the multi attack feat, should you qualify for it (reducing it to a -2 penalty).
