Can sound wake up a poisoned unconscious PC?

Hello,

If PCs go to sleep during camping, sound can usually wake them up.

In this particular case, 2 of them have been poisoned, with an effect that renders them unconscious upon initial failing the fort roll.

Do they make perception checks vs sound regardless, and be able to wake up?
Or is this a 'darn' situation? Since there's murder in their sleep involved.

PCs aren't asleep, they're unconscious due to poison. Sound shouldn't wake them up anymore than it should wake up a guy KOed by a brawler's knockout blow.

In this case, PCs are pretty much doomed for either death or capture barring other circumstances.
