In hope that the Swarm Monger archetype from Blood of the Beast will be approved for PFS I'm trying to clear up some of the Swarm rules, esp in relation to how the archetype works.
1) do swarms add their Str bonus to their damage?
2) would casting Reduce Animal on the Familiar, then having it turn into a swarm give it the benefits of a swarm of Diminutive creatures?
1) No. It's a flat damage associated with the entire swarm. Having it derived from a single character with variable strength is unprecedented, without a specific rule stating so you don't modify (bonus or penalty) the damage.
2) No. You don't stack polymorph type abilities. Only the standard swarm stuff would apply.
