I've sporadically invited two friends over to meet for Christmas and play some Pathfinder. Unfortunately our third member can't make it, so I've decided to play a one-off adventure that doesn't relate to our current questing.
Can anyone recommend a one-off adventure that we can play throughout the day? I'd like to make new characters with them so they can experiment (since the characters they have now are the first ones they made) so an adventure that starts out as a relatively low level would be handy, but still with a substantial end threat would be great!
Now that I think about it, it wouldn't be impossible to start at a higher level, it would be interesting to see how they react to playing already well-seasoned characters!
If there is no such adventure, I have time to make one, so any recommendations for that would be cool too.
Thanks!

This is a good time to utilize the Pathfinder Society Scenarios. They're easily scaled up or down based on your party's strengths/weaknesses and can be played with just about any number of players.
I've used these quite a bit to give certain adventures or adventure paths some additional flavor and background.

there are a lot of modules out there that are one-off. do you have a special theme in mind?
a propos theme, since it's Christmas, why not make a Christmas themed adventure?
You're right, a christmas one would be great!
I've never really looked into the modules before, so I had no idea the variation of them.| Ysri |

I agree, the scenarios are even better, since I just realized the modules are probably a bit too Long to play on a single session.
and, of course they are much easier to be reskinned. instead of the Venture Cpt. giving the group their mission, let them meet three nobles from northern Garund on their way to a newborn king wo give the mission and you're off to a Christmas-y start. Change the macguffin of said scenario (let's say The Frostfur Captives since it's lvl. 1 and set in Irrisen which has the Christmas-y winter backdrop)maybe from goblin prisoners to gold, frankincense and myrrh that those three Garundi nobles need and put in some other ideas.
