Martial Flexibility and Ranged Feats

Rules Questions

Let's say I have a character who is specialized in archery (archer paladin, fighter archer archetype, sohei, whatever). Now I take a one level dip into Brawler to get Martial Flexibility. Can I use Martial Flexibility to select ranged Combat Feats?

Now depending on the situation I can select archery feats like:

  • Deadly Aim: Extra damage against low AC opponents
  • Improved Precise Shot: Ignore cover and concealment (vs enemies behind cover)
  • Bullseye Shot: Attack bonus vs those unhittable dragons
  • Reckless Aim: Attack bonus vs targets in melee

I know that a Brawler's bonus feats must "affect or improve her defenses or melee attacks", but by RAW nothing in Martial Flexibility says that.

Martial flexibity only requires that it be a combat feat, shoot away!
