Multiclass options for Spellscar Drifter

I'm building a Spellscar Drifter for PFS and am considering multiclassing after level 4, which class would be best to go with it?

I'd look at options that progress your mount (animal companion) and base attack.

This would include Barbarian (Mad Dog archetype, or go with Mounter Fury and take Boon Companion), and Brawler (wild child archetype).

Or Hunter is great for classes that use an animal companion, but it loses full base attack progression.

I'm focusing on his use of Firearms so going to a 3/4 BAB isn't terrible, also I could pick up Horse Master feat so my mount keys off my total levels, not just Cavalier

Multiclassing out of Cavlaier seems like a bad plan. You need many uses of challenge and a big challenge damage bonus to make spellscar drifter work.
